About Me

I'm Emre, born in 1986, and I work as an IT manager by trade. On the side, I'm a passionate nerd who loves diving deep into technical topics, approaching challenges with calm, persistence, and a long attention span. My day-to-day involves an international environment, which is why most of what I write here is in English. In IT, that's mostly the language things happen in anyway. This blog is where I collect experiences from my professional life and personal projects, from complex network topics to small weekend experiments.

My goal is to present these insights in a way that benefits both technically minded readers and everyday users, while using Ghost as a CMS to explore and experiment along the way.

Why This Blog?

IT loves jargon. But often it's the simple explanations that actually help. That's why I write here about secure networks, practical solutions, and whatever crosses my desk in the IT world.

What matters to me is making complicated topics accessible without losing depth, somewhere between tech enthusiast and everyday reality.

What to Expect

This blog is an open mix of technology, insights, and personal thoughts. Specifically, you'll find:

  • Glimpses into IT day-to-day: What lands on my desk, what keeps me busy, and what drives me professionally and personally.
  • Current topics and commentary: I pick up news and developments from the IT world and share my personal take on them.
  • Practical guides: Understandable how-tos on IT security, networking, and other technical topics.
  • Personal projects: Insights into my technical experiments and side projects after hours.

Content is added step by step and published over time, so it's worth checking back regularly.

Current Status

For now, I'm not offering subscriptions or newsletters. The site is still taking shape and new articles are being added gradually. Feel free to check back and follow along as things grow.
